Wedding Planning for the Worst Case Scenario

nuptialstv.com If you are having a wedding during a time of the year with unpredictable weather, make sure you plan ahead for the worst case scenario. Rent a tent for your wedding site if you are having an outdoor wedding, or arrange to have a backup location for the ceremony or reception at a different, indoor site. And make sure your guests are informed about the possibility of a backup site… it is appropriate, and will be appreciated, to include in case of bad weather information on your invitations, and some couples even include a seperate rain card enclosed in their invitation packet which gives detailed information and instructions to your wedding guests for what to do if it starts to rain or snow. And don’t stress out about it… many people consider rain on a wedding day a good omen for the marriage, so just be optimistic and think of it as good luck if it happens.
