This book came in the mail today and I love it!! It breaks the wedding details down into very do-able steps. The book takes the overwhelming task of planning a wedding and explains it in small tasks, week by week,and makes your “wedding vision” seem easy to achieve. It’s obvious that the author has “been there, done that” many times for brides. Also there is a list of wedding websites in the back of the book.

Wedding planner guides group tasks in difficult monthly chunks, where Joyce provides weekly tasks making them easier to accomplish. Her expertise and advice is a valuable tool. Countdown to Your Perfect Wedding is my life saver!! This is the first book that I have seen to give you all of the needed information in an organized manner. Other books or websites tend to overwhelm you with all of the information that needs to be covered when planning a wedding; this book has set up a timeline that can be altered to everyone’s needs and lets you know what needs to be done each week. It’s easy to see that the author knows what she is talking about, and seems to speak to you personally as you read. I’m having a blast planning my wedding, and I’m so happy to have found this book!
